Align Strength & Wellness Terms and Conditions
Welcome to Align Strength & Wellness! To ensure a safe, enjoyable, and productive experience for all members and guests, we kindly ask you to review and adhere to the following Terms and Conditions.
Membership and Usage
Membership Eligibility: All members must complete a membership application and sign a liability waiver. Membership is non-refundable.
Open Gym by Appointment: Open gym sessions must be scheduled in advance. The cost is $18 per session, part of your monthly membership or one pass (in a 10-class pass), Fitness passports are accepted.
Code of Conduct: Respect all members, guests, and staff. Harassment, bullying, or any inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated. Use equipment properly and follow all posted instructions and staff guidance. Clean equipment after use with provided disinfectant wipes. Return all equipment to its designated place after use.
Attire: Appropriate gym attire and footwear are required at all times. Shirts must be worn at all times.
Personal Belongings: Align Strength & Wellness is not responsible for lost or stolen items. Please store belongings on the edge of the group fitness room to avoid trip hazards.
Health and Safety
Health Screening: Members must complete a health screening form and update it as health conditions change. Do not use the gym if you are feeling unwell or have any symptoms of a contagious illness.
Emergency Procedures: Familiarise yourself with the location of emergency exits and first aid kits. Report any injuries or incidents to staff immediately.
Equipment Use: Do not drop weights or misuse equipment. Use spotters when lifting heavy weights. Report any damaged or malfunctioning equipment to staff immediately.
Facilities and Services
Toilet and Shower Facilities: Be mindful of time in the toilet and shower facilities due to limited space.
Supervised Kids' Area: Available for $3 per child per session. Children must be signed in and out by a parent or guardian.
Group Fitness Classes: Pre-book classes to ensure a spot, as spaces are limited. Arrive on time to avoid disruption.
Merchandise: Merchandise is available for purchase, including brands like LSKD and Adidas.
Personal Training and Classes
Personal Training Sessions: Personal training sessions are by appointment only. Sessions must be cancelled at least 24 hours in advance to avoid charges.
Group Fitness Classes: Members must pre-book classes due to limited spaces. Late arrivals may not be admitted to avoid class disruption.
General Policies
Privacy Policy: Members' personal information is kept confidential and used only for gym-related purposes.
Liability Waiver: All members must sign a liability waiver (through sign up app process) acknowledging the risks of physical exercise and agreeing to hold Align Strength & Wellness harmless. Cancellation and Refund Policy: Memberships can be cancelled with a 7-day notice. Refunds are not provided for unused sessions or classes.
Changes to Terms and Conditions: Align Strength & Wellness reserves the right to update or modify these terms and conditions at any time. Members will be notified of significant changes. By signing up for membership or using our facilities, you agree to abide by these terms and conditions. Our goal is to provide a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for everyone. 4. Photos and Videos: From time to time, we may take photos and videos in the gym for marketing and promotional purposes. Consent: By entering our facility, you consent to being photographed and filmed. Opting Out: If you do not wish to be included in photos or videos, please notify our staff or email us at smartfitnessandnutrition@outlook.com. We will make reasonable efforts to exclude you from the material.
5. Data Security: We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information from unauthorised access, use, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
